The Londonderry satellite of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is hosting the very first extension of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.
Each year in Boston, thousands of participants raise millions of dollars for cancer research and patient care. The Boston Jimmy Fund team reached out to the Londonderry community to start a local walk for those who cannot make it down to Boston.
Though Boston’s walk is 26.2 miles, this walk will only be 2 miles and will start and end at Londonderry High School.
If interested, sign up here and join the Londonderry team to start fundraising. Those wanting to attend, but who are unable to fund-raise may register the day of the walk.
