Consistency is huge in the sport of golf. Nick McCann is just that.
The most experienced golfer on the team also happens to be the best, averaging around a forty three for nine holes during the season.
Teammate Jack Cowette thinks his ability to drive the ball is what sets McCann apart from the rest of the golfers.
“He is consistent with his drives off the tee,” Cowette said. “He also has great putting skills.”
Another experienced golfer senior Tommy Dutra, also praised McCann’s consistency.
“Nick rarely has bad days, and he’s always focused and prepared,” Dutra said.
McCann’s determination may be a key to his success according to Cowette.
“He’d always be the last one to leave the course,” Cowette said, “because he’d always go to the putting green after playing nine holes.”
McCann’s teammates said he is also a great leader, helping the younger guys with their swings and technique whenever he can.
