Thursday, April 13 the class of 2019 will hold Pizza Wars from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m, an event previously run by the National Honor Society. Pizza Wars has not been held for a few years, but the class of 2019 hopes to have a great student turnout in their revival of the event. Admission is $5 for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and the public, and senior admission is $3. Attendees will have the opportunity to try pizzas from Giovanni’s, Domino’s, Checkmate Pizza, Portland Pie Company, and Juliano’s, and drinks and desserts are included in the price of admission.
Tickets for assorted raffle baskets will be available for guests, and before leaving, pizza testers will vote for their favorite pizza of the evening. The winning business will receive a plaque recognizing their contribution to the school and honoring them for the best pizza in greater Londonderry.
