STEPS program to raise money for lung cancer research, Lancer family

November is Lung Cancer awareness month, so the STEPS program is selling key chains and bracelets for $3.  All proceeds will go to lung cancer research and also towards helping a fellow Lancer and their family.

Orders are due by Thursday, November 2. Donations are accepted.

A few members of SNHS and their Advisors, Lisa Fraser and Anthony Cariello, just finished listening to Dr.Smith, leader of the SWUG project. Smith gave a lecture about what the information the students help gather with the magnetometers they build is used for and how it helps predict and monitor space weather.

Director of School Counseling, Ms. O'Dea, wants students to "believe in themselves and reach goals that they work hard to achieve,” O’Dea said.
Director of School Counseling Ms. O'Dea wants to try and offer another "layer of support for students.”
House four counselor, Mr. Papargiris, tries to "motivate students to recognize, it’s not just about having that one person that you’re assigned to talk to,” Papargiris said. “But someone you feel comfortable talking to.”
House 4 counselor Mr. Papargiris tries to "[provide] bumpers to allow the students to navigate [themselves] comfortably.”
