After finishing off the first half of the season with a record of 13-1, girls softball is once again hungry for a championship title.
“So far, we are 13-1. Our team is really strong and we are all super close which makes game and practice much more enjoyable,” junior Alivia Proulx said.
The girls have had four shutouts this season and are looking to continue to dominate and secure a strong position going into playoffs.
“The season has been going really well so far. This team really clicks and works well with one another,” junior Miranda Galan said.
The girls have had three shutouts this season and are looking to continue to dominate and secure a strong position going into playoffs.
“This season, Ila Brown has been doing outstanding on the mound. She has been doing a wonderful job making it easy in the field, considering no one can ever get a hit off of her,” said senior captain Sarah Fawcett.
With a strong season last year but an unfortunate loss in the first round, the girls are back again and hoping to get the opportunity to claim the title.
Their next game is Wednesday the 16th against Manchester Central at 4 p.m.
