Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) week, or the second week of Feb., is the national week of FBLA participation.
“FBLA week provides the opportunity for us to make FBLA more known,” business teacher and FBLA adviser Karen Young said. “Not many people know about the what we do as a club, such as professional development, fundraising, and community service.”
This week is an excellent opportunity to inform the public about the purpose of school-to-work activities and programs. The Londonderry High School’s Chapter celebrated this week with multiple days.
These days are meant to spread awareness about topics or issues that are impactful to that particular chapter. Days consisted of wearing maroon for undiagnosed illness awareness, dress for success ice cream social, and wearing purple for opioid awareness.
