Question: What are some of your goals while teaching at LHS?

Answer: “My biggest goal is for kids to be able to use German. To really learn it and really use it. I’m hoping that we can recruit some more German students and maybe set up something with the middle school. Even if we can’t get German into the middle school, maybe we can do something that helps kids become aware of German before they come to the highschool.”

Question: Do you have any memorable stories from your first few days at LHS?

Answer: “At 11:30 on Sunday night, I let my dog out and he met a skunk in the yard. We cleaned him off, and I didn’t think about because it was on him, but as I go to school in my car I realized. I was like ‘Oh no! I smell like a skunk!’ And I had to then meet my freshman students smelling like a skunk!”
