4 students to represent LHS at Mathematics Competition

Seniors Logan Ford, Katy Gore, Rachel Pepin and junior Christian Irwin will represent LHS  at WPI’s 28th Annual Invitational Mathematics Competition on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

A few members of SNHS and their Advisors, Lisa Fraser and Anthony Cariello, just finished listening to Dr.Smith, leader of the SWUG project. Smith gave a lecture about what the information the students help gather with the magnetometers they build is used for and how it helps predict and monitor space weather.

House four counselor, Mr. Papargiris, tries to "motivate students to recognize, it’s not just about having that one person that you’re assigned to talk to,” Papargiris said. “But someone you feel comfortable talking to.”
House 4 counselor Mr. Papargiris tries to "[provide] bumpers to allow the students to navigate [themselves] comfortably.”
