“High school sports has taught me that being in a big commitment at a young age can keep you on track with the rest of your goals in life,” Hanley said. “It has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field. It has taught me things you cannot learn in the classroom, such as sacrifice and that family is not only blood. It has prepared me by giving me the environment that the next level holds.”
