Winter sports are a go this season with added regulations

In a pandemic ridden world, sports as a whole have been questioned. Questions like whether it was safe for not just students, but coaches, teachers, and family members of both schools. As we come close to the winter season, in order to provide a safe environment, LHS enlisted its own rules on top of the NHIAA baseline regulations.
Boy’s and Girl’s Indoor Track
Immediate family members only will be permitted to attend any events. Limited students will be permitted within the locker rooms to change into uniform attire. They will change quickly while remaining a six foot distance, and are asked not to congregate. Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball
Only two parents/guardians per player will be allowed to attend the games. Basketball will be sanitized at all appropriate times it can be, such as the beginning of the game, during each quarter, during any time outs, and after the game. Several basketballs will be at each game for use, and will be sanitized at the conclusion of each game. To limit the person to person contact, all students should not go back to the school or practice location after the practice or a meet has ended. They are encouraged to go directly home.
