Lori Silverwatch, Intellectual Functioning Evaluator
This year, the Londonderry High School staff was honored to welcome Mrs. Lori Silverwatch to their team. Silverwatch is a certified specialist in the Assessment of Intellectual Functioning, and will be working at LHS part time with Dr. Beth Sheridan for special education evaluations.
“I completed my internship with Dr. Sheridan and loved the LHS community,” Silverwatch said. “This part time position opened up for this school year and I knew it would be the perfect fit for me at this time in my life and career.”
Starting out in the Salem, NH School District, Silverwatch has held multiple titles: special education teacher, District Inclusion Specialist, and even running her own consultation business for local school districts. With 26 years of experience under her belt, Silverwatch’s commitment and dedication to improving the wellbeing of students is unparalleled.
“Figuring out how a student learns best and helping them and their teachers develop and implement new learning strategies that will help them succeed in the classroom is my passion,” Silverwatch said.
As Silverwatch opens this new door in her life, Silverwatch is already excited for the opportunities that she’ll be able to have.
“I look forward to helping students, teachers, and colleagues learn how to best help students reach their fullest potential,” Silverwatch said.
As Silverwatch continues to dedicate each day to her best effort, she’s excited to bring unique skills to the table at LHS. Having a trusted voice for recommendations and learning strategies, Silverwatch hopes to support not only students, but teachers and parents in the “path of learning”. Silverwatch is committed to fulfilling confidence in those she meets too.
“You can do anything you put your mind to. Believe in yourself, try your best, and enjoy the ride,” Silverwatch said.
