Winter is approaching, and so is the Lancer Spirit’s Winter Creative Writing Contest! Everyone is encouraged to participate, and the first place winner will be published in the December edition of the Lancer Spirit Magazine as well as Lancer Spirit Online and receive a free sweatshirt from the Lancer Locker. Submissions can be short stories, poems, or other works of creative writing and must be related to winter or the holiday season in some way.
Rules:
- Winter or holiday themed
- The submission must be no more than 10 pages
- There is no page minimum requirement
- Please use a size 12 readable font (preferably Times New Roman)
- Avoid excessive gore and violence
- No using other students’ names
- ABSOLUTELY NO PLAGIARISM!
- Only one submission per person

DUE BY: Friday, Dec. 10 at midnight.
The first place winner and the runner-up will be announced online and in the magazine before Winter Break.
