At the Day of Giving Assembly this Friday, February 18, the National Honor Society (NHS) will be continuing their tradition of the Miracle Minute.
The Miracle Minute means that in the span of a minute, NHS members will try to collect as much money as they can from the audience.
This year all proceeds of the Miracle Minute will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Though the fundraiser has not been able to take place in recent virtual pep rallies, NHS has figured out an alternative way to raise money. Instead of just running up into the bleachers, members of NHS will also be in the hallways, reaching as many classes watching the remote assembly as they can.
And if you can’t attend school on Friday, there’s still an opportunity to donate. NHS members will be posting flyers and on social media with a QR code, so there is an opportunity to donate online as well.
So on the Day of Giving make sure to bring any extra cash or coins to school to participate. Any donation big or small is appreciated!
