Best Buddies is having their two year anniversary this Friday, February 9th. To celebrate, they are holding a fundraiser at Jersey Mike’s Subs.
Londonderry Best Buddies adviser, Jillian Hannon oversees the club and helps with organizing events like these.
“We use the money we raise to fund our monthly club activities as well as send our club president to the national Best Buddies Leadership Conference over the summer,” Hannon said.
The fundraiser is all day on Friday, February 9th, Jersey Mike’s will be donating 10% of total sales to the LHS Best Buddies club.
Londonderry Best Buddies president, Amanda Robinson would be the one headed off to the Best Buddies Leadership Conference over the summer. She is super involved in the club, and organizes the many activities that Best Buddies does throughout the year. She encourages that everyone supports the fundraiser.
“Anyone who wants to can join and we all have so much fun together,” Robinson said. “All donations will go towards activities with buddies.”
