With the new year in full swing, the Executive Council met for their first meeting of the year. Although a majority of the meeting was spent discussing possible new updates with the new phone policy, the classes were able to discuss finished business and upcoming business.
The Student Council’s upcoming business includes “Matchamatic” which will be taking place from February 3. until February 10. which is where you can find who you are most comparable with and who you differ from. They also mentioned the Spring Semi Dance coming further this spring
The senior president discussed all of their upcoming business in finalizing prom planning, final edits for the senior trips, the January volleyball tournament, and the hypnotist show coming in March. With their last year wrapping up, they have a lot of amazing things already planned.
The juniors finished business includes having the Holiday Extravaganza, and they are currently doing their Little Caesers Pizza fundraiser that will be running January 31.
Sophomores are continuing business on their Super Fan shirts and are planning to sell them at basketball games.
The freshmen class’s unfinished business includes the Holiday Extravaganza, where they worked with the junior class. They are currently discussing their Easter fundraiser happening in the spring.
It has been brought to the Executive Council’s attention that the student body is unaware of what Student Council does. Student Council reminds the student body that all students are welcome to attend their meetings every other Monday to contribute their thoughts to the board.
