As prom shoppers go store to store looking for their perfect dress for the big night, The Sparkle Project is helping girls who might not be able to get a dress for the occasion.
The Sparkle Project is looking for new or gently used dresses of different sizes as well as styles. Drop-offs will be held through Feb. 1 to the 21 at Londonderry High School. If you are interested in donating, please contact Katie Sullivan at [email protected] prior to drop-off.
The project is also looking into getting businesses and hairstylists to help the girls get ready on the big day.
Involved in this project is senior Arianna Conomacos who is hoping to “help as many girls as possible” using the Sparkle Project.
“I just want to help as many people as possible have that big prom moment where they can feel on top of the world and super confident in themselves,” Conomacos said.
