Sugar and chocolate, gummies and frosting.
Students and families spent Tuesday night in Candyland making delicious houses at the drama club’s annual Gingerbread Night on Tuesday.
“It’s such a great time,” junior and Drama Club member Julia Fitzgibbons said. “You get to laugh and eat sugar. What’s not to love?”
The money raised on this delicious holiday-themed night goes towards the Drama Club and their upcoming musical Shrek.
An abundance of different candy toppings and frosting were available to build a colorful, sweet graham cracker mansion. Everyone got the opportunity to showcase their creativity and go home with food to satisfy their sweet tooth.
“I love that it is a bonding experience,” Fitzgibbons said. “You can come here with your friends and your whole family.”
The event also included raffles, Christmas movies, and a special visit from Santa Claus. The night was a town event with people of all ages attending from elderly couples to little kids and families to students and alumni.
“The best part of the night is watching all of the kids get excited,” freshman and Drama Club member Abigail Palmer said.
