In light of the winter sports season, students and staff of Londonderry High School gathered in the gymnasium on Fri. Jan. 29, to commend winter athletes on a season of good sportsmanship and devotion to their teams.

Junior Lexy Freire kicked off the pep rally with the national anthem, followed by junior Julia Fitzgibbons singing the school fight song.Junior Julia FitzgibbonsDana Mendes, a cancer patient from Merrimack, was honored with a wig on behalf of LHS during the pep rally, accompanied by her mother and her former field hockey coach, Mrs. MacLean.
The LHS Marching Band performed two pep tunes, including “Vehicle,” a favorite among band members.

The Lancer Dancers’ performed another original routine for the student body during Friday’s pep rally.
