Letter From Tiffany Considine
Mental Health Matters
By Tiffany Considine, LCMHC
After working in the field of mental health for 10 years, I’ve seen a lot of people who’ve initially struggled with their diagnosis and symptoms. But the best part of my job is seeing those same people make progress in their journeys to recovery.
I’m so happy to be part of the Londonderry School District and to work with students on a variety of concerns and issues.
Some of you may not even know I’m here so I want to take this opportunity to let you know I am here for all of you! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and am at the high school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Should you have any questions about your mental health, a family member’s or friend’s mental health, substance use questions or just feeling stress and need someone to talk to— let me know.
I’m located in room 348 (by the wood shop) or you could let your school counselor or AP know you’d like to connect with me. I like to promote hope and provide education around mental health as well as the importance of overall self-care.
I applaud the two students in this issue for sharing their stories and feel they couldn’t have done a better job of writing about how mental health impacts an individual while also sharing how they’ve successfully coped with it.
It’s important to remember that mental health matters and there are resources available.
