At last night’s Baccalaureate award ceremony for the Class of 2016, scholarships and other honors were presented before parents and faculty at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord.
The night began with a moment of silence and then the Pledge of Allegiance led by senior Bobby McEachern, who will be entering the Air Force after graduation.
Students who ranked in the Top Ten of the class were honored with medals, and the Class of 2016 officers were presented with graduation stoles and then performed a skit.
Economics and history teacher Mr. Choquette gave a speech for the graduating class, wishing them luck in the future, which was followed by the scholarship presentations.
The Class of 2016 will graduate tonight at the Verizon Wireless Arena at 7pm.
