The normally gray LHS main parking lot received spots of color over the summer in the form of school banners, due to the Class of 2016’s senior gift to the school.
“We chose banners as our senior gift as a way to improve the appearance of our school, not only for students but also for the residents who drive by the school. I think they make the school look much better and show how much pride we have in our school,” LHS Class of 2016 president Max Hastings said. “Our class hopes to leave behind a legacy that won’t be forgotten even after we are long gone, not just the banners but what the class of 2016 accomplished in our four years at LHS we hope will stand the test of time.”
