When it was released, 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' became one of the biggest hits of 2019. Manga sales almost defeated the number one manga in Japan.

As of Aug. 2019, 'My Hero Academia' has sold 16 million copies of its manga. So with that popularity, anime adaptations will most likely continue as long as there is source material.
